This Baffle or boiler cleaning plate (also known as a throat plate) sits at the back of the Stanley Erin Boiler Stove and deflects the flames and flue gases back into the boiler for the secondary burn. If this cast iron plate is warped or broken in any way the efficiency of your stove will be greatly reduced.
