This Replacement Middle Firebar or riddle bar sits at the centre of the Aga Minsterley Grate and holds and riddles the coals and ashes in the fire chamber.  If this cast iron bar is warped or broken then the fire or coals/wood could fall into the ashpan causing potential damage or hazard.
