The set includes a 5mm thick steel baffle plate and high-density vermiculite firebricks that provide superior insulation and longevity compared to standard refractory materials. The baffle sits above the fire to retain heat and ensure flue gases are re-burned for cleaner combustion, while damaged or warped components can lead to heat loss and reduced efficiency, making timely replacement essential.
