This Replacement Baffle plate or Throat plate sits at the top/back of the Dovre 250 or the Stovax Huntington 25 deflects the flames and flue gases back into the stove for the secondary burn.  If this cast iron plate is warped or broken in any way the efficiency of your stove will be greatly reduced.
